The rules, in plain words
Aytebar is free to use, for buyers and for sellers. These are the few things we ask, and the few things we will not pretend about.
If you list a property
Describe it as it actually is. Every buyer who rings you is asked afterwards whether the property was real and available as advertised. Two buyers answering No, from different phone numbers, removes the listing. That is not a punishment we decide on — it is the mechanism, and it applies the same way to everyone.
List only property you are selling or renting, or that you are authorised to act for. Do not list the same property under several accounts.
If you are a buyer
Answer the one question honestly. Not as a favour to us: the next person reading that listing is relying on your answer, the same way you relied on the answers before yours.
Answering No about a property that was real, to push a listing down, is the one thing that breaks this site. Accounts that keep disagreeing with every other caller carry less weight, and ones that do it deliberately get removed.
What we do not promise
We are not the seller, the agent, or a party to anything you agree with them. We do not verify ownership, we do not hold deposits, and we never ask you to pay us or them through this site. A listing marked confirmed means buyers who rang it said it was real — it is evidence from other buyers, not a guarantee from us.
Photos taken with the Aytebar camera carry the time from our servers and, when the seller allowed it, the place. That makes them much harder to fake than a photo from a gallery. It does not make them impossible to fake, and we say so on the listing rather than claiming more.
Check the property, the papers and the person before any money moves. Nothing on this site replaces that.
Your account
Your phone number is your account, and it is yours to close whenever you like from your account page. We can remove an account that is used to post property that does not exist, to claim a number that is not yours, or to vote dishonestly at scale.
Changes
If these change in a way that affects you, the site will say so rather than quietly swapping the page.
